NGC 9 is aspiral galaxy about 140 millionlight-years away in thePegasus constellation. It was discovered on 27 September 1865 byOtto Wilhelm von Struve.[3]

Onesupernova has been observed in NGC 9: SN 2021zju (type Ib, mag. 18.15).[4]
