NGC 7522 is anastronomical object whose identity is in question. It was originally catalogued as a faintnebula. AlthoughSIMBAD identifies it as PGC 70742,[2] this is unlikely, due to the faintness of thegalaxy. Instead, it is possible that a nearbystar was accidentally catalogued as a nebula.
