NGC 4634 is an edge-onbarred spiral galaxy[4] located about 70 millionlight-years away in the constellation ofComa Berenices.[5] NGC 4634 was discovered by astronomerWilliam Herschel on January 14, 1787.[6] It is interacting with the spiral galaxyNGC 4633.[5] Both galaxies are members of theVirgo Cluster.[7][8]
