NGC 3619 is an unbarred[4]lenticular galaxy located in theconstellationUrsa Major. It was discovered by the astronomerWilliam Herschel on March 18, 1790.[5]

NGC 3619 is part of a richgalaxy cluster. It also has a relatively large amount of gas.[4]
