NGC 3455 is anintermediate spiral galaxy located 65 million light-years away in the constellation ofLeo.[2] It is a member of theNGC 3370 Group of galaxies, which is a member of theLeo II Groups, a series of galaxies andgalaxy clusters strung out from the right edge of theVirgo Supercluster.[3]
