NGC 3383 is abarred spiral galaxy in the constellationHydra. It was discovered byJohn Herschel. NGC 3463 is member of theNGC 3393 Group.

Onesupernova has been observed in NGC 3383:SN 2022ydu (Type II, mag. 17.861) was discovered byATLAS on 20 October 2022.[3][4]
