Group of galaxies in the constellation Ursa Major
TheNGC 2841 group is agroup of galaxies about19.6 million light-years away fromEarth . It includes the loose tripletNGC 2541 ,NGC 2500 , andNGC 2552 .[ 1] NGC 2841 is the fourth-brightestgalaxy in Ursa Major with an apparent magnitude of 9.2. It is 20' southeast of3 Lyncis and just below the halfway point of an imaginary line betweenTheta and15 Ursae Majoris .[ 2]
