NGC 2803, also known as PCG 26181,[2] is anelliptical orlenticular galaxy in the zodiac constellationCancer. It was discovered March 21, 1784, byWilliam Herschel. It is interacting withNGC 2802.[5]
Onesupernova has been observed in NGC 2803: SN 2017ilf (type Ia, mag. 18).[6]
