NGC 2692 is aspiral galaxy located around 188 millionlight-years away in theconstellation Ursa Major.[1][2][3] It was discovered on March 17, 1790, byastronomerWilliam Herschel, and it has a diameter around 46,000 light-years.[1][2][4] NGC 2692 is not known to have lots ofstar-formation, and it is not known to have anactive galactic nucleus.[1][4]
