NGC 2035 (also known asESO 56-EN161 and theDragon's Head Nebula) is anemission nebula and aH II region in theDorado constellation and part of theLarge Magellanic Cloud.[2] It was discovered byJames Dunlop on August 3, 1826. Its apparent size is 3.0.[3]

NGC 2035 is part of a complex of nebulae and stars, includingNGC 2029,NGC 2032 andNGC 2040, found north of the main bar of the LMC. It consists of large bright gas clouds which are separated by dark dust clouds.
