NGC 1035 is aspiral galaxy located in theConstellation ofCetus. It is situated close to thecelestial equator making it at least partially visible on both sides of thehemisphere during certain times of the year.[1]
The neighboring galaxyNGC 1052-DF4 shows signs of beingtidally disrupted and is missing most of itsdark matter. The cause for this missing dark matter is from this galaxy stripping the dark matter from NGC 1052-DF4 and is now stripping apart the galaxy itself. Only thecentral regions of NGC 1052-DF4 remains unaffected.[2]
SN 1990E is aType ll supernova that occurred in thisgalaxy.[3]
