PT MDTV Media Televisi (MDTV, formerly known asNET. orNET TV) is an Indonesian nationalprivatetelevision broadcaster owned byMDTV Media Technologies and Industri Mitra Media under the auspices of MD Entertainment.[1][2] This television network conducted a trial broadcast as NET. on 18 May 2013 and was officially launched on 26 May 2013 at 19:00 WIB by replacing the terrestrial feed ofSpacetoon Indonesia.[3][4]
The logo of NET., used since 2013 until 2024; it last appeared along with the MDTV logo for on-air purposes until the entire rebranding to the latter's name on 28 February 2025.
In 2012, PT Net Mediatama Indonesia was established. In March 2013, the company acquired PT Televisi Anak Spacetoon (Spacetoon) by purchasing 95% of its shares before the company was wholly acquired in May 2013. On 18 May 2013, NET started its trial broadcast using Spacetoon's frequencies on terrestrial television, limiting the latter broadcast topay television.[5]

In October 2024, MD Entertainment, a production company owned byManoj Punjabi, has expanded into broadcasting business by acquiring 60.98% shares of NET.[13] This acquisition led to entry of Manoj and his wife Shania to the board of directors on 10 October.[14] On 5 November, Manoj, Shania, and Dian Adhitama collectively resigned as the director general, the commissioner general, and the independent commissioner, respectively.[15] Two days later, Manoj officially announced the renaming of its legal name from PT Net Visi Media Tbk. into PTMDTV Media Technologies Tbk. after agreement during an extraordinary meeting of shareholders.[16] On 28 February 2025, NET was eventually rebranded as MDTV.
