N-Ethyl-2C-B is a recreationaldesigner drug withpsychedelic effects.[1] It was first synthesised in the 1990s,[2] and was first identified as a new psychoactive substance in Finland in 2007.[3] It is specifically listed as an illegal drug in Finland,[4] and controlled under analogue provisions in a number of other jurisdictions. The drug is apotentserotonin5-HT2A receptorfull agonist, with anEC50Tooltip half-maximal effective concentration of 3.39 nM and anEmaxTooltip maximal efficacy of 106%.[5]
