TheMutual Party (previously theBank Reform Party) is a de-registered minorpolitical party inAustralia.[1]
The party has been involved inGlenn Druery'sMinor Party Alliance.[2][3]
The party's lead candidate for theSenate inWestern Australia at the2014 special election wasAnthony Fels, who has been aLiberal (and later independent) member of theWestern Australian Legislative Council, and an independent andKatter's Australian Party Senate candidate at the2010 and2013 federal elections, respectively.[4][5]
In March 2015, the Australian Progressive Party (not to be confused with the similarly namedAustralian Progressives) announced that it had absorbed the Mutual Party after they agreed to join forces.[6]
The Mutual Party was deregistered in April 2015, according to the Australian Electoral Commission.[7]
