Musée de la Romanité is anarcheological museum in the French city ofNîmes, opened on 2 June 2018.

The museum is located in front of theArena of Nîmes and has been designed by the French–Brazilian architectElizabeth de Portzamparc.^[1][2] Its collection covers several periods of the history ofNîmes, including:

• The pre-Roman era, with the possibility for visitors to discoverGallic houses,
• TheRoman era, with some well preserved mosaics, such the mosaic ofPentheus,^[3]
