Mukhabarat el-Jamahiriya (Arabic:مخابرات الجماهيرية)[1] (Intelligence of theJamahiriya) was the nationalintelligence service ofLibya underMuammar Gaddafi. During theFirst Libyan Civil War, agency directorAbuzed Omar Dorda was captured byanti-Gaddafi forces, the agency ceased to exist when the Jamahiriya was toppled in October 2011.

In 1988, the agency was accused of causing the bombing ofPan Am Flight 103 overLockerbie,Scotland, killing 270 people.
