Mudhar Club (Arabic: نادي مضر) is aSaudi Arabian professionalfootball andmulti-sport club based inAl-Qudaih,Qatif, in theEastern Province. It competes in theSaudi Second Division League, the third tier of theSaudi football league system.[1]
The club was founded in 1970 as a result of a merger between two local teams,Al-Wehda and the originalMudhar Club.[2] Its first president was Ali Al-Qudaihi.[3]
Mudhar has competed in theSaudi Second Division League on four previous occasions, with their most recent appearance before promotion occurring in the 2000–01 season. In the2022–23 season, the club won their first everSaudi Third Division League title, earning promotion to the Second Division for the first time in over two decades.[4]
