This is a natural line of separation between the state ofKarnataka andTamil Nadu and a separation between the forest ofBandipur National Park and theMudumalai sanctuary to the south.[2] The Moyar River Gorge is 20 km (12 mi) long. The river flows into the gorge below Theppakadu in a roaring waterfall called Moyar Falls.[3] The Moyar meets theBhavani River at theBhavanisagar reservoir on the plains ofTamil Nadu nearSatyamangalam.[4]
