Mount Hale is a mountain located inGrafton County,New Hampshire. The mountain is named after ReverendEdward Everett Hale (1822–1909), and is part of theTwin Range of theWhite Mountains. The western and eastern sides of Mount Hale are drained by theLittle River andZealand River respectively, and thence into theAmmonoosuc River,Connecticut River, and intoLong Island Sound inConnecticut.
A major hiking trail over its peak leads to theZealand Falls Hut, which is 2.8 miles (4.5 km) away.
