TheMotorcycle Grand Prix of the Americas is a motorcycling event that is part of theFIMGrand Prix motorcycle racing season that takes place atCircuit of the Americas.[1] It became the third MotoGP round in the United States, alongside theIndianapolis Grand Prix at theIndianapolis Motor Speedway (which lost its place on the calendar in 2015), and theUnited States Grand Prix atMazda Raceway Laguna Seca (which lost its place on the calendar in 2014).[2]

The 2020 race was cancelled due to the outbreak ofCOVID-19.[3]
