Mosese Tuipulotu (born 5 May 2001) is an Australianrugby union player, currently playing forEdinburgh Rugby. He previously played for theWaratahs. His preferred position iscentre.[1]

Early career

Tuipulotu was born inMelbourne, Australia and is the brother ofScotland internationalSione Tuipulotu.[2] Like his brother, he is also eligible for Tonga via his father[3] and for Scotland via his grandmother.[4]

Club career

Tuipulotu played his junior rugby inVictoria, playing in theDewar Shield. He moved to New South Wales in 2021, representing theEastern Suburbs team.[5] He was first named in the Waratahs squad for the2022 season, although did not feature due to injury.[6] He was again named in the squad for 2023,[7] and made his debut in Round 4 of the2023 Super Rugby Pacific season against theHurricanes.[8] In the same week, he was heavily linked to a move to Scotland.[9][10]

In May 2024, it was announced that Tuipulotu had signed a two-year contract withUnited Rugby Championship teamEdinburgh.[11]

International career

In October 2024, Tuipolotu was named in the Scotland squad for theautumn nations series alongside his brother who was also named as captain. He made his first appearance in a Scotland Jersey in aScotland A game against Chile in Nov 2024[12]
