Moreno Argentin (born 17 December 1960) is an Italian former professionalcyclist (from 1981 to 1994) and race director.
Born inSan Donà di Piave (Veneto), Argentin won stages in theTour de France, theGiro d'Italia, and theTour de Suisse. Known asIl Capo ("The Boss"), he wonLiège–Bastogne–Liège four times, theLa Flèche Wallonne three times, and theTour of Flanders andGiro di Lombardia once. He became Italian national champion in 1983 and 1989, and world champion in 1986.
Argentin cofounded theAdriatica Ionica Race, first run in 2018.[3]
