Moran Medal

Mathematical award
For the Moran Medal awarded by the government of South Korea, seeOrder of Civil Merit (Korea).

TheMoran Medal in Statistical Sciences is awarded every two years by theAustralian Academy of Science to recognise outstanding research by Australian scientists under 40 years of age in the fields ofapplied probability,biometrics, mathematical genetics,psychometrics, andstatistics.

This medal commemorates the work of the latePat Moran, for his achievements inprobability.
