Moonrise (Japanese:ムーンライズ,Hepburn:Mūnraizu) is an upcoming Japaneseoriginal net animation (ONA) series directed by Masashi Koizuka and produced byWit Studio, based on a novel written byTou Ubukata. It is scheduled to premiere in April 2025.
The series was originally announced on June 8, 2022, to be directed by Masashi Koizuka and produced byWit Studio, withTow Ubukata writing the scripts.[3] On September 25, 2022, it was announcedHiromu Arakawa would be designing the characters and Ryou Kawasaki would be composing the music.[4] Originally scheduled for 2024, the series is set to premiere onNetflix on April 10, 2025.[1] Its ending theme song, "Daijōbu" (It's All Right), is performed byAina the End.[1]
