TheParc d'entreprises de la Pointe-Saint-Charles, formerly known as theMontreal Technoparc andAdaport Victoria,[1] is anindustrial park and former industrial dump in thePointe-Saint-Charles neighbourhood ofMontreal, between theChamplain andVictoria bridges.[2]
The site was formerly marshland adjacent to theSt. Lawrence River. It was used as a landfill and dumpsite from 1866 until 1966, and then was paved to serve as a parking lot forExpo 67 and was namedAutoparc Victoria. Following the Expo, it briefly served as the site of theVictoria STOLport, oradaport in French.
