Montigny-lès-Arsures (French pronunciation:[mɔ̃tiɲilɛ.z‿aʁsyʁ], literallyMontignynearArsures) is avillage in theJuradepartment inBourgogne-Franche-Comté in easternFrance.[3][4]
Montigny is located in the heart of theJura wine region, in the north-east of the Jura on theJura wine Route and the RoutePasteur.
The Larine stream originates in the village, which it then proceeds to cross.[5]
The village boasts the title of Capital ofTrousseau, a local grape variety, since the village'slimestone soil particularly suits this uniquegrape.
