Monti della Laga is amountain range in thecentral Apennines of Italy.
Living in this mountainous zone are numerous species of wild animals including theApennine wolf,deer,badgers, and the extremely rareMarsican brown bear. Among insects the butterflyErebia pandrose has in these mountains its sole Apennine population.[1]
