Monstropolis is an upcoming themed area inspired byPixar'sMonsters, Inc. franchise atDisney's Hollywood Studios.[1][2] It is replacingMuppet*Vision 3D and its surrounding Grand Avenue area.
In August 2024 at theD23 fan event, it was announced that aMonsters, Inc. themed land will be built atDisney's Hollywood Studios. The land will include Disney's first suspended roller coaster.[3][4][5] In November 2024, it was announced thatMuppet*Vision 3D and the Grand Avenue area would close to make room for the land.[6] Construction began in 2025.[7] In October 2025, it was revealed that the land will be called Monstropolis.[8][9]
