Monica and Friends (known asTurma da Mônica in Brazil,Mónica e Amigos in theEuropean Portuguese dub andMonica's Gang in past translations) is a Brazilian series of animated cartoons based on the comic bookMonica and Friends byMauricio de Sousa. The series ran onCartoon Network from 2004 to 2025 and previously onGlobo, but in 2014, Globo stopped to air the series. It also airs onTV Cultura (since 2017),HBO Max (since 2021) andDiscovery Kids (since 2025).
Six DVDs with episodes of the series were released, distributed byParamount Home Entertainment. Globo displayed the newest episodes of the DVDs. New episodes were released in nineCine Gibi movies. New episodes are posted on the programme's officialYouTube channel after they air on Cartoon Network.

The animation, done inchibitoy art, traces shows 30-second episodes with Monica, Jimmy Five, Smudge and Maggy (with occasional appearances Blu and Mauricio) doing funny things, Jimmy Five appears to get Monica's toy stuffed rabbit, Samson.
