Populated place in ancient Paphlagonia

Mokata was an inland town ofancient Paphlagonia inhabited during theHellenistic period. Its name does not occur in ancient authors, but is inferred fromepigraphic and other evidence.[1]

Its site is located nearMuda inAsiatic Turkey.[1][2]
