Mohare is a village inBailhongal Taluk,Belagavi District ofKarnataka, India. It is located near the state border withMaharashtra, about 26 kilometres east of the district seatBelgaum, and 16 kilometres northwest of the taluk seatBailhongal. As of 2011, it has a total population of 2,365.[1]
Mohare is located to the north ofMalaprabha River. It is bounded by Deshnur in the west and Koladur in the east. Its average elevation is 818 metres above the sea level.[2]
Mohare has aTropical Savanna Climate (Aw). It sees the most rainfall in July, with 176 mm of average precipitation; and virtually no precipitation in February.
