Mohammad Taghavi (Persian:محمد تقوی) is an Iranian retiredfootballdefender and current coach who was most recently interim manager ofTractor.
He played forEsteghlal andIran national football team.[1]
He was also a TV presenter who work forBBC Persian as football interpreter, when he lived inBirmingham from 2010 until 2015. He is currently a sports expert atIran International.
His three older brothersReza Taghavi, Hossein Taghavi and Hassan Taghavi were also football players.
