Mohamed Soumah (born 15 March 2003) is a Guinean professionalfootballer who plays as acentre-back forGent and theGuinea national team.
Soumah is a product of the academy of the Guinean clubKaloum. He began his career on loan with the FrenchChampionnat National 3 clubFC Ouest Tourangeau in 2022, and the following year had a loan in theChampionnat National 3 withAvoine OCC.[1] On 16 August 2023, he joinedGent on loan where he was assigned to theirreserves.[2] On 8 January 2025, he signed a 3-year contract with the senior Gent team.[3] He debuted with the senior Gent team in a 3–1Belgian Pro League loss toUnion Saint-Gilloise on 25 May 2025.[4]
Soumah was called up to theGuinea U23s for the2024 Olympic Games.[5] He was called up to theGuinea national team for a set of2026 FIFA World Cup qualification matches in September 2025.[6]
