Mohamed Ali Hafiz (Arabic:محمد علي حافظ) of theFederation for Scouts and Girl Guides served on theWorld Scout Committee of theWorld Organization of the Scout Movement from 1957 to 1963 and again from 1965 to 1971.
In 1957, anArab Scout Bureau was established, with Hafiz as firstSecretary-General.[1]
In 1963, Hafez was awarded theBronze Wolf, the only distinction of theWorld Organization of the Scout Movement, awarded by the World Scout Committee for exceptional services to world Scouting.[2]
