Club career

In February 2020, after spells atWalton Casuals,Banstead Athletic andNorthwood, Abukar signed forIsthmian League clubBrightlingsea Regent.[2]

International career

On 5 September 2019, Mohamed made his debut forSomalia in a 1–0 win againstZimbabwe. The win marked Somalia's first everFIFA World Cup qualification victory.[3]
