
Mofakham's House of Mirrors (Persian:آئینهخانه مفخم,romanized: Ayene khane Mofakham) is a historic building inBojnord,North Khorasan province,Iran. Dating from theQajar era, it was constructed during the reign ofNaser al-Din Shah Qajar by the mayor at the time, known as Mofakham.[1] It is featuresayeneh-kari, a style of Persian interior decoration which features finely-cut mirrors assembled in intricate geometric designs.
In 1991, Iran'sCultural Heritage Organization took over the mansion and turned it into the Museum ofAnthropology andArchaeology.[2][3]
