Mk Ibrahim bin Abd Rahman is aMalaysianpolitician who has served asSpeaker of theNegeri Sembilan State Legislative Assembly since September 2023.[1][2] He served as Member of theSeremban City Council (MBS) from 2020 to 2023. He is a member of theNational Trust Party (AMANAH), a component party of thePakatan Harapan (PH) coalition and formerly a member of theMalaysian Islamic Party (PAS), a component party of formerlyPakatan Rakyat (PR) andBarisan Alternatif (BA) coalitions. He has also served as State Chairman of AMANAH ofNegeri Sembilan since November 2019. He was State Vice Chairman of AMANAH of Negeri Sembilan before his promotion to the state chairmanship in November 2019. He also served as the State Commissioner of PAS of Negeri Sembilan from 1999 to 2001.[3]

In the1999 Negeri Sembilan state election, Mk Ibrahim made his electoral debut after being nominated by PAS to contest for theAmpangan state seat. He lost to Zakaria Nordin ofBarisan Nasional (BN) by a minority of 1,940 votes. He then left PAS and mobilised theGerakan Harapan Baru (GHB) of Negeri Sembilan,[4] before joining AMANAH.[3][5][1]
