Mitsu, Hyōgo

This article is about the former town in Hyōgo Prefecture, Japan. There are towns with the sameJapanese name in two other prefectures, seeMito, Aichi andMitsu, Okayama.

Mitsu (御津町,Mitsu-chō) was atown located inIbo District,Hyōgo Prefecture,Japan.

As of 2003, the town had an estimatedpopulation of 11,966 and adensity of 665.89 persons per km2. The total area was 17.97 km2.

On October 1, 2005, Mitsu, along with the towns ofIbogawa andShingū (all fromIbo District), was merged into the expanded city ofTatsuno.[1]
