Miss Grand Uttaradit (Thai :มิสแกรนด์อุตรดิตถ์ ) is a Thai provincialbeauty pageant which selects a representative fromUttaradit province to theMiss Grand Thailand national competition.[ 1] [ 2] [ 3] [ 4] lance corporal , Krit Pondetwisai (กริช พลเดชวิสัย northern region .[ 5]
Uttaradit representatives have yet to win theMiss Grand Thailand title. The highest and only placement they obtained was in the top 10 finalists, achieved by Srisawan Sukhiwat in 2020.[ 6]
In 2016, afterMiss Grand Thailand began franchising the provincial competitions to individual organizers, who would name seventy-seven provincial titleholders to compete in the national pageant.[ 7] Uttaradit province was granted to a local policeman, Krit Pondetwisai,[ 5] lower northern stages , includingPhichit ,Phitsanulok ,Phetchabun , andKamphaeng Phet .[ 5] Mueang Phitsanulok on April 17, 2016, and named Jenjira Prakasit (เจนจิรา ประกาศิต [ 8] อัครดิษฐ์ เหมธนกิจโภคิน [ 9]
In addition to the 2016 edition, the pageant was also organized in parallel with otherMiss Grand Thailand provincial stages in 2019 withSukhothai [th ] [ 10] [ 11] Miss Grand Phitsanulok .[ 12]
The pageant was skipped once; in 2021, due to theCOVID-19 pandemic in Thailand , the national organizer was unable to organize the national event, and the country representative for theinternational tournament was appointed instead.[ 13]
