Miss Grand Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya (Thai:มิสแกรนด์พระนครศรีอยุธยา) is a Thai provincialbeauty pageant which selects a representative fromPhra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya province to theMiss Grand Thailand national competition.[1][2][3] It was founded in 2016 by an entrepreneur Thippawee Suphanakorn (ทิพภาวีร์ ศุภนคร).[4]
Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya representatives have yet to win theMiss Grand Thailand title. The highest placement they obtained was in the top 10 finalists, achieved in 2020 by Isaree Rodwiset.[5]
In 2016, afterMiss Grand Thailand began franchising the provincial competitions to individual organizers, who would name seventy-seven provincial titleholders to compete in the national pageant, the license forPhra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya province was granted to an entrepreneur Thippawee Suphanakorn, who organized the first Miss Grand Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya contest on April 24, 2016, at the Ayutthaya City Park,[4] and named Thanisa Panyaphu the winner.[6]
The pageant was skipped once; in 2021, due to theCOVID-19 pandemic in Thailand, the national organizer was unable to organize the national event, and the country representative for theinternational tournament was appointed instead.[7]
