Miss Grand Buriram (Thai :มิสแกรนด์บุรีรัมย์ ) is a Thai provincialbeauty pageant which selects a representative fromBuriram province to theMiss Grand Thailand national competition.[ 1] [ 2] [ 3] [ 4] [ 5] Sisaket -based producer Awirut Akkabut (อวิรุทธ์ อรรคบุตร [ 6]
Buriram representatives have yet to win theMiss Grand Thailand title. The highest placement they obtained was the third runner-up, won by Nantapak Kraiha in 2018.[ 7] [ 8]
In 2016, afterMiss Grand Thailand began franchising the provincial competitions to individual organizers, who would name seventy-seven provincial titleholders to compete in the national pageant. The license forBuriram province was granted to afilm producer fromSisaket ,Awirut Akkabut [th ] ,[ 6] Mueang Buriram on May 15 19, 2016, and named Phattiya Rattanajariya fromLam Plai Mat the winner.[ 5] ศุภชัย ชุนหชา [ 9]
The pageant was sometimes co-organized with other provincial pageants; withMiss Grand Surin –Yasothon –Amnat Charoen in 2020,[ 3] Miss Grand Nakhon Ratchasima in 2023.[ 10] [ 11]
The pageant was skipped once; in 2021, due to theCOVID-19 pandemic in Thailand , the national organizer was unable to organize the national event, and the country representative for theinternational tournament was appointed instead.[ 12]
