Mislav Karoglan (born 14 April 1982) is a professionalfootball manager and formerplayer.[1] He is the head coach ofFootball Superleague of Kosovo clubBallkani.

Born inImotski,SFR Yugoslavia, present-day Croatia, Karoglan made two appearances for theBosnia and Herzegovina U21 national team.

Playing career

Karoglan has played forŽilina in theSlovakian Corgoň Liga. Previously, he played forŠiroki Brijeg andZrinjski Mostar inBosnian Premier League. He also played forKamen Ingrad in the CroatianPrva HNL. On 20 August 2009, he signed a two-year deal with Croatian sideRijeka.[2]

Managerial career

Karoglan managedCroatia Zmijavci in 2016, leading them to a 9th-placed finish out of 16.[3] In 2022, he was appointed caretaker manager ofHajduk Split.[4]

In the summer of 2023, he was appointed manager ofIstra 1961, replacingGonzalo García who led the club to fifth place in the2022–23 season. After a disastrous start to the season, he was sacked after only three games in charge.[5]

On 23 October 2023, Karoglan was appointed to replaceIvan Leko as manager of Hajduk Split on a permanent basis.[6][7] After a series of poor results, resulting in the club losing any chances of winning the league title, Karoglan's contract with Hajduk was terminated on 8 April 2024.[8]

On 5 August 2024, he was appointed manager of Moldovan clubSheriff Tiraspol.[9] Despite not losing any game in the league, he departed the club on 15 April 2025 as Sheriff was in the third position in the table.

On 25 November 2025 Karoglan was appointed manager of Kosovar clubFC Ballkani.[10] His first game in charge was a 3-2 away win against reigning league championsFC Drita.[11]
