Mintaqah

Administrative division in Saudi Arabia, Chad and several other Arab countries

Minṭaqah (Arabic:مِنْطَقَة[ˈmintˤaqah]; pluralمَنَاطِقmanāṭiq[maˈnaːtˤiq]) is a term used for a first-leveladministrative division inSaudi Arabia andChad and for a second-level administrative division in several otherArab countries. It is often translated asregion ordistrict, but the literal meaning is "region", "area", or even simply "place".[1]
