TheMinistry of Labour and Social Protection of the Russian Federation[1] (Russian:Министерство труда и социальной защиты Российской Федерации,romanized: Ministerstvo sotsialnoi zashchity Rossiiskoi Federatsii) is aministry of theGovernment of Russia responsible forsocial protection andlabor.
The Ministry of Labour and Social Protection was formed in 2012 under Prime MinisterDmitry Medvedev when the formerMinistry of Health and Social Development was split in two, with thehealth departments forming theMinistry of Health. It is headquartered at theBuildings of the Northern Insurance Company inTverskoy District,Moscow.
