Ming Prefecture, also known by itsChinese nameMingzhou, was aprefecture (zhou) ofimperial China in present-dayHebei Province. It existed intermittently from AD 578 to 1278. Its seat—also known at the time as Mingzhou—was atGuangfu inHandan'sYongnian District.
