MindMup is amind mapping application written primarily inJavaScript and designed to run in HTML5 browsers. It can also be used to createargument maps[2] andconcept maps.[3] MindMup v1 was released under anMIT-like license with a non-compete clause that restricts use,[1] which makes it non-free software. The source code is available fromGitHub.[4] On 1 January 2017, the project was discontinued. Current version of the site software is not open source, and there are no plans to open source it.[5]
The Software may not be used to offer a publicly accessible service that replicates the core service, visual layout or experience of www.mindmup.com
