Minamiaizu (南会津郡,Minamiaizu-gun) is adistrict located inFukushima Prefecture,Japan.^[1] It makes up the southern third of theAizu region in western Fukushima Prefecture.

As of 2003, the district has an estimatedpopulation of 33,533 and adensity of 14.32 persons per km². The total area is 2,341.64 km². It is the least populated part of Aizu.
