Milton Shumba (born 19 October 2000) is a Zimbabweancricketer.[1] He made hisTwenty20 debut forZimbabwe againstEastern Province in the2016 Africa T20 Cup on 30 September 2016.[2] Prior to his T20 debut, he was part of Zimbabwe's squad for the2016 Under-19 Cricket World Cup.[3]
He made hisfirst-class debut forRising Stars in the2017–18 Logan Cup on 12 November 2017.[4] Later the same month, he was named in Zimbabwe's squad for the2018 Under-19 Cricket World Cup.[5][6] In December 2019, he was named in Zimbabwe's squad for the2020 Under-19 Cricket World Cup.[7] He made hisList A debut on 12 February 2020, forMatabeleland Tuskers in the2019–20 Pro50 Championship.[8]
In October 2020, he was named in Zimbabwe's squad for theirtour of Pakistan.[9] He made hisTwenty20 International (T20I) debut againstPakistan, on 10 November 2020.[10] In December 2020, he was selected to play for theTuskers in the2020–21 Logan Cup.[11][12] In April 2021, he was named in Zimbabwe'sTest squad, for the seriesagainst Pakistan.[13] He made his Test debut for Zimbabwe, againstPakistan, on 29 April 2021.[14] In July 2021, Shumba was named in Zimbabwe'sOne Day International (ODI) squad for their seriesagainst Bangladesh.[15] In August 2021, Shumba was also named in Zimbabwe's ODI squad for their seriesagainst Ireland.[16] He made his ODI debut on 10 September 2021, for Zimbabwe againstIreland.[17]
