Pie susu (Indonesian:pai susu,lit. 'milk pie') is an Indonesiancustard tart pastry consisting of ashortcrust pastry filled withegg custard andcondensed milk. This traditional Indonesiandessert pastry is very flat with only one very thin layer of custard. The origin of this pastry is fromBali.[1]
Pie susu is a unique pastry, although the shape is similar to Portuguesepastel de nata.[2]
