Milan Aleksić (Serbian Cyrillic:Милан Алексић; born 30 August 2005) is a Serbian professionalfootballer who plays as amidfielder forEkstraklasa clubCracovia, on loan fromPremier League clubSunderland.[1]

Club career

On 31 August 2024, Aleksić joinedEFL Championship clubSunderland on a four-year contract for an undisclosed fee, reported to be around £3,100,000.[2] On 23 November 2024, Aleksić made hisSunderland and Championship debut as a substitute in a 1–1 draw againstMillwall.[3] He scored his first goal for Sunderland againstStoke City; he came on as a substitute in the 60th minute forChris Rigg and scored within just four minutes in the third round of the FA Cup on 11 January 2025.[citation needed]

On 5 September 2025, Aleksić moved to PolishEkstraklasa clubCracovia on a season-long loan, with an option to buy.[4]

International career

After representing Serbia at theU18 andU19 levels, he received a call-up to thesenior national team by coachDragan Stojković Piksi at the age of 18, for the2024–25 UEFA Nations League A matches againstSpain andDenmark on 5 and 8 September 2024, respectively.[5]
